Our Work (Mission, Outreach)

Housing Advocates USA (HAUSA) works with referral partners, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Credit Counseling/NID, the Executive Office of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisor for Youth Commission, the State of California Prison & the Probation Department. 

HAUSA is experiencing consistent, meaningful outcomes. economic stability, positive contributions, and complete life skills set for generational success is their goal. Understanding there's an urgent need to solve homelessness, HAUSA follows the entire journey from the start to the success of homeless veterans, justice impact juveniles, adults, and aging out of foster homes; assist in securing clean housing, employment, job training, credit counseling, and more.

​This California-based nonprofit is tackling the serious crisis that affects every city across America - Homeless veterans, youth aging out of foster care, and justice impacted families. 

They are working hard to get the word out about housing, credit counseling, S.T.E.A.M., and vocational training that will lead residents to sustainable employment.

Ensuring a balanced, diverse, and inclusive economy of quality housing while strengthening neighborhoods through public and private investments.

In sum, fostering respect for people as individuals and creating environments where fairness, trust, and equitable treatment are the hallmarks of how they work.

​HAUSA's goal is to move families from homeless and hungry. jobless, under-skilled, welfare stricken battered, abused or abused, living a life of abandonment, unhealthy and/or depressed; To - Permanent housing, employed, self-reliant vibrant, happy, safe and care-free, participating members of the community, abundant life.
